Secure caravan storage in North Wales

Caravan storage is priced on application, on a monthly or a yearly agreement. Ring the yard with the make, model, overall length and age of the caravan and roughly how long it is staying, and we will quote over the phone and tell you honestly what is free. The air compressor and pressure washer are included at no extra charge.

Twin-axle space is limited, so please call the yard to check what is free at the time. We are unable to take caravans over 25ft at the moment, and the overall length includes the towbar.

Both are on the same gated site, behind the same barriers, CCTV and infrared sensors. The indoor unit is 7,000 sq ft under cover and keeps the van out of rain, frost and sun year round, but spaces are limited and go first. The 11,000 sq ft of outdoor hardstanding is level, secure and usually available.

Yes. There is no separate winter term: take a monthly agreement and leave when you are ready in the spring. The minimum period is one month. Space goes early, because last year's customers usually take it again, so ring in late summer rather than in the first cold week.

Book a collection slot online or by phone with at least 12 hours notice. Slots run from 5am to 8pm, seven days a week, and your confirmation email has links to reschedule or cancel. A member of staff moves the van out of its space, so it is out and facing the right way, ready to hitch up, when you arrive.

No. Our team moves every vehicle in and out, so nobody is reversing between other people's caravans and nobody has a reason to be in the yard unaccompanied. For a maintenance visit, phone or text 0788 772 4903 before you leave home. Minor repairs can be carried out with our permission; major repairs cannot be done on site.

It often helps. Most insurers ask where a caravan is kept when it is not in use, and many either require an accredited site or price the risk by grade. Gold is the highest of CaSSOA's three grades and is awarded on inspection, so tell your insurer the grade when you ask for a quote. Your caravan must be insured for the whole time it is stored with us.

Remove or disconnect all gas bottles, take out personal effects and valuables, remove any food, and leave the windows and doors locked. It is also worth draining the water system, taking the leisure battery home and leaving the roof vents open for airflow.

Storage is paid in advance, monthly or yearly. We prefer bank transfer (BACS), and send the details once the booking is accepted. Cheques payable to Clwyd Caravan Storage are also fine. We do not take card payments.

Yes. Boats, jet skis and trailers go on the hardstanding, and we take private cars, vans and light commercial vehicles indoors or out. Motorhome space is limited, so call to check what is free before you travel.
